Ophelie's journey in the world of gymnastics and circus arts began at the tender age of 6, performing with esteemed coaches who worked for companies like Moscow State Circus and Cirque du Soleil. Despite facing significant challenges, including five major leg surgeries and living with degenerative spine disease and joint conditions, she persevered.
After a substantial break, Ophelie returned to aerial training in 2013/2014, facing hurdles such as the lack of affordability for coaching or training spaces. This period of self-reliance led to frustration due to slow progress.
In 2015, Ophelie's path took a turn when she qualified as a coach. She developed her own sustainable training methods, focusing on injury prevention and rapid, tangible progress. Since 2017, Ophelie has been coaching aerial arts, sharing her expertise globally through performances and shows. Aerial Hoop is her chosen apparatus, complementing her extensive background in trapeze.
